Job Description
Trinity College has an opportunity for an experienced programmer/analyst to support the College’s administrative computing needs. As a member of the Enterprise Applications group, the programmer/analysts are responsible for developing reports, providing support, maintenance and upgrades of the PeopleSoft applications, as well as integration with other third party products that interface with PeopleSoft. Functional knowledge in the support of fund raising activities and Development Office needs in higher education is highly desirable. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in building partnerships with their constituents, defining business requirements, developing quality solutions and always striving for excellence in customer service. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate initiative, be capable of exploring new technologies, work independently as well as effectively collaborate with the team. Experience leading projects of varying complexity is a plus.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required, with a minimum of three years of experience as a programmer/analyst. Knowledge of PeopleSoft or other comparable Administrative Enterprise Systems in a higher education or non-profit environment is highly desirable. Strong technical skills required in MS SQL or comparable database development. Knowledge of SQL, COGNOS, Crystal Reports and other PeopleSoft Reporting tools, or similar products is essential. The ability to present information in a clear and concise way to technical and non-technical constituents verbally and in writing is very helpful.
