Meet new people, get involved in your community, learn important skills, and make a difference on the issues that matter!
ConnPIRG interns take on a leadership role within a campaign, and in many cases are able to receive course credit for their work here at Trinity. ConnPIRG—the Connecticut Public Interest Research Group--is a student directed, professionally staffed advocacy and research organization active on campuses around the state since the 1970s. We address consumer, environmental, hunger, and student rights issues.
Our interns will learn to apply college level research and scholarship to current local, state and national issues. Interns coordinate events on campus, conduct research, lobby the state legislature, organize press events, and produce consumer publications. Internships are available on-campus and off-campus.
