Federal regulations require Trinity College to conduct Exit Loan Counseling, for any student that received a student loan during their enrollment at Trinity College. May 2013 graduating students will receive a packet through campus mail with a summary of loan totals and instructions for completing loan counseling online. If you are a borrower of Federal Perkins loan funds or Trinity College loan funds, an email invitation notice will also be forthcoming from University Accounting Services.

You must complete the Exit Loan Counseling online for each lender that you have a loan with. This information can also be found on the National Student Loan Data System: http://www.nslds.ed.gov/nslds_SA/ .
You can contact the lenders directly for verification of your account information. You will be receiving billing statements from each lender when your loan enters repayment. It is your responsibility to maintain a current mailing address and valid contact information with your student loan lenders for the life of your loan.
Failure to complete online counseling will result in a HOLD being placed on your grades and transcripts.
