Story by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Adapted and Directed by Caitlin Crombleholme '13
“The voices were so sure they had time to say everything.”
Basil Duke Lee is in the prime of his life. He is about to enter Yale, play quarterback on the football team, and be wildly successful. But first he must visit his current infatuation, Miss Erminie Gilberte Labouisse Bibble. His rose-colored glasses begin to fade when he comes to realize love is not so simple in this game of life. This dramatic adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s short story "Basil and Cleopatra" performs every word of Fitzgerald’s timeless prose about youth, love, and ambition.
Cast: Chanel Erasmus '15, Heath Harckham '15, Leah Novak '13, Kevin Rich '13, Forrest Robinette '16, and Lindsay Walker '13.
