Professor Sarah Raskin’s Neuroscience Lab is looking for volunteers from the Trinity College faculty and staff over the age of 35 to serve as healthy controls for her research on the electrophysiology of the brain that is associated with prospective memory.
The testing will involve both a paper and pencil test as well as an electroencephalogram (EEG) and will last approximately two hours. The EEG test will involve putting a cap on your head and a conductive gel on your scalp to measure your brain activity while completing a simple computer test. At the conclusion of the test your hair will be washed in order to remove all of the gel. There is no risk to your participation. As a thank-you for your time you will receive a $15 Barnes and Noblegift card.
The testing will take place in the Electrophysiology Laboratory in the Life Science Center (LSC 101). Your participation is greatly appreciated. Please contact Consuelo Pedro at 860-680-1856 or email consuelo.pedr@trincoll.edu to schedule an appointment if you are interested.
