As of Friday, October 18 at 5:00 p.m., parking will be restricted in the Hansen Lot. The Hansen lot will be set aside and used by visiting alumni, elderly, and handicapped visitors attending the football game starting at 10:00 a.m. This also applies to cars parked along the fence-line between the Psi-U and Hansen lot. Cars parked in these lots must be moved by this time, and will not be allowed in these areas until the game is over. Cars will be towed at the owner's expense.
Limited tailgating spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on Saturday in the Allen, Broad and Vernon lots, and Ferris Athletic Center parking lots. Kegs and large vehicles such as RV’s, buses, and rental trucks are prohibited. Any person consuming alcohol on College property must be at least 21 years of age and may not serve alcohol to minors. Campus Safety will check for violations of this policy.
Parking will still be available along north side of Vernon Street and all of the other lots around campus.
Please note the following:
· Hartford Police will take notice of anyone parking improperly in the city streets surrounding Trinity College.
· We have had problems of individuals parking on the grassy areas and sidewalks along Summit Street. Parking in such a manner damages the lawn belonging to the City of Hartford– vehicles are subject to tickets and removal at the owner’s expense.
· Cars parked on the wrong sides of both Allen Place and Crescent Street will towed by the Hartford Police.
· No vehicles should park on any part of College Terrace.
If you suspect your vehicle was towed from any of these areas please call (860) 757-4000.
In case of an emergency after hours, please contact Campus Safety at x2222.
Thank you all for your anticipated cooperation.
