*Starting in January 2013, if you have not previously participated in the Trinity College weight watchers at work program, you are eligible to receive a full reimbursement of your cost as long as you attend all weekly meetings (at Trinity or another location) from January 2013 – April 2013.
Are you looking for proven ways to achieve and maintain a healthier lifestyle? Trinity’s Weight Watchers at Work members have lost over 800 pounds in a year! Participants are seeing many improved health benefits including lower cholesterol levels and reduced risk of diabetes and heart disease, by making better food choices. Come and experience a Weight Watchers meeting discussion at no cost and no obligation! Learn why people who go to Weight Watchers lose 3 times more weight than those who go it alone. Meetings are dynamic, interactive and are led by Leaders who have successfully lost weight. Learn why the meetings at the College work, the importance of a supportive environment and talk to the current members to get more first-hand experience. See below what one of the participants have said about the meetings:
“Last fall my doctor told me that I was pre-diabetic, and at risk of developing Type-2 diabetes. He said that people who were able to lose just 5% of their body weight could dramatically reduce their chances of developing diabetes. Right after I learned this, Trinity offered the Weight Watchers at Work program, so I signed up immediately. I’d done Weight Watchers before, and knew it could work for me. What made it work this time was the convenience of having the meetings here at work, and the camaraderie of having friends and co-workers doing this together. By January, I’d lost my 5%, and now at the close of the first session, I’ve lost 10%!! I’m really thrilled with the results. I plan to stay with Weight Watchers to lose a few more pounds, and to keep the support I’ve gotten from all the members. Maintaining weight loss is just as challenging, so their support will be as important as ever”.
The meetings are held on Fridays from 12:00 to 1:00pm generally in Mather. If you can’t make an on-site meeting, your pass will enable you to attend any Weight Watchers sessions held in local towns which may fit your schedule better. Passes cost $39.95 per month plus tax, and Trinity will be subsidizing the cost by 25% for benefits-eligible employees.
