That`s right--Spring Break is already sooo close and you're still trying to figure out what to do. Perhaps you would like to consider Trinity Habitat for Humanity's annual alternative spring break trip to Wilmington, North Carolina!
Each year we send a group to a different city in the United States to participate in Habitat for Humanity’s annual Collegiate Challenge alternative break program to build homes for and with families in need. These spring break trips afford students an opportunity to partake in an unconventional spring break experience that focuses on service and human rights.
What is required to go on the spring break trip is to be an active member of our Habitat chapter, attend all meetings (Sundays at 7:30 p.m.), work on one Habitat build site, participation in five fundraising and/or education/advocacy activities, completion of all relevant paperwork, and payment of a $250.00 deposit. The deadline for submission of payment and paperwork is Friday, February 22, 2013.
So if this sounds of interest to you or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Berkley Singer, Katie Masi, or Alyssa Cuyjet at trinityhabitat@gmail.com. We look forward to having you join us. It's a wonderful experience that can best be explained by experiencing it.
