A New York City jewelry designer is looking for a recent college graduate looking to break into the fashion industry. The position is a full-time salaried position, requiring some travel both locally and nationally. Candidates should have a high interest in fashion and/or accessories and be passionate about the industry.
The position will be responsible for purchasing design materials, coordinating with local and overseas vendors to create successful price points and manage business expenses. The candidate will also be responsible for managing the Upper East Side store, which includes providing excellent customer service, fulfilling and shipping online and wholesale orders, and assisting with all bridal jewelry inquiries.
Additionally, position will execute all business development opportunities including trade/trunk shows, manage existing and acquire new wholesale accounts, and develop PR opportunities through magazine placements and social media outlets.
Qualifications:
4 year college degree
Retail experience
Fashion industry experience/internships
Hardworking, creative individual
