For First-Year Students, Sophomores, and IDPs:
PIECING TOGETHER THE PUZZLE OF CHOOSING A MAJOR
Tuesday, October 22, 2013
12:15 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. drop in during Common Hour open block
Washington Room, Mather Hall
This is your opportunity to meet with faculty and students in the multitude of majors we offer to ask what distinguishes each department, what the requirements are for the major, what study abroad programs coordinate well with a particular major, how to earn honors in each department, and what special research interests faculty and students in each department have (which can show you what some of your options may be down the road).
The information you can gather here is crucial in your decision-making,
so please come by the Washington Room just before or just after
going to lunch in Mather, even if just for 10 minutes.
There will be faculty there to represent each major, as well as some students
who are current majors in the various departments.
There will also be people who represent:
Study Abroad opportunities,
Sophomore Success program, and the
Health Professions Advising Program
