Join The Mill for a faculty lecture and dinner from Hartford’s El Sarape’s every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7:00 pm.
Mel McCombie is the Associate Director at the American Studies Graduate Program and a Visiting Associate Professor of American Studies. She was selected as a Fulbright Scholar at the American University in Cairo in American Studies in 2011-2012 where she researched advertising for multi-national beauty products in Egypt and the U.S., which developed into an examination of "shadism."
