in working with youth in Hartford? Become a J-Z A.M.P. paid mentor! Since
September 2001, the Jones-Zimmermann Academic Mentoring Program has provided mentoring, tutoring and enrichment activities on Tuesdays and
Thursdays after-school and one Saturday a month for middle school students
from the Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy.
a mentor, Trinity students are paired with 2 sixth grade students to work
with them on their homework. If you’re interested in applying you must
be available on BOTH Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Experience working with youth is not required but preferred.
