Trinity College has an opening for Registrar’s Office Coordinator who will beresponsible for the oversight of the day to day operations and efficient functioning of the Registrar’s Office.  In addition, responsibilities include development and maintenance of class schedule, student worker supervision and a wide variety of office management duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with development of academic year class schedule: distribute schedule drafts to department chairpersons/program directors; monitor class meeting time by department to ensure learning space availability; build new courses into the catalog; monitor enrollment capacities based on previous enrollment; maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the online schedule.
Maintain and distribute Planning Calendar for Faculty and Department Staff: establish due dates for course schedule information, degree clearance materials and other assorted materials from academic departments.
Develop and maintain positive associations with faculty; advise administration, faculty, staff, students and parents with regard to academic policies and procedures.
Assist Associate Registrar with ad hoc classroom reservations.
Coordinate advisee reassignments: contact faculty prior to and upon return from leave to determine temporary assignments for their advisees during their leave.
Communicate with faculty, staff and students regarding academic deadlines and procedures
via email and Trinity Today.
Work with outside vendors to coordinate form and envelope printing, shredding, and off-site records storage.
Advance Registration and Add/Drop: provide telephone and walk-in customer service; assist entering students into the proper classes; instruct students in navigation TCOnline for course enrollment and personal information management.
Oversee operation of the front office area to ensure optimal functionality of the Office of the Registrar including ordering supplies, office equipment maintenance and organization of various special projects.
Hire, train and oversee the daily supervision of student staff, their workload and completion of tasks.
Assist the Registrar and Associate Registrars with various projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level work experience.
         Familiarity with higher education preferred.
         Accuracy, strict attention to detail and reasonable speed are required as well as the ability to prioritize and organize work.
         Strong oral and written communication and computer skills
