The Department of Theater and Dance is offering THDN-307-01 PERFORMANCE ART (1 course credit) in the spring semester taught by nationally-known performance artist and Director of the Trinity/La MaMa New York City Performing Arts Program Michael Cross Burke.
 
The course will be held Wednesday evenings from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Trinity Commons Rm. 164 (Studio 4).
 
Students will explore the diverse genre of performance art from 1968 to the present. Emphasis will be placed on actively developing group and solo performance work using autobiographical material, found text, visual imagery, music, and movement. The course will culminate in the creation of original performance pieces.
