Written and Directed by Mitchell Polin, Associate Professor of Theater and Dance
This is a story of magic and longing. It is the epic adventure of a woman, as both a child (living in a corrupt and violent city) and as an adult (suffering from amnesia), who attempts to recall her life and discover love through stories that weave together the past and the present. Through her encounters and interactions with a heroic government worker and an old puppeteer, twice she stays up all night, listening to tales which invent and reinvent her past in a desperate attempt to capture memories, regain her life, and create a future full of hope and love.
