The 8th Annual Trinity International Hip Hop Festival is a free, all ages event that is open to the entire global hip hop community.
This year the festival will consist of film screenings, panel discussions, workshops, lectures, urban art galleries, a local hip hop showcase, a live graffiti exhibition, a bboy/bgirl battle, a producer beat battle, a poetry slam, an urban street market, the DMC Hartford DJ Championships, the Youth 4 Change Conference, two nights of concerts, and several opportunities for community building and enrichment.
The theme for this year’s festival is “What is Hip Hop? The Local as the Global” and the mission of the festival is to provide a safe space for the local and global hip hop community to unite under the mission of using hip hop as a tool for positive communication, education, peace, and social change.
